Two killed after car crashes into motorcycle in Nacharam, driver flees scene- NSP NEWS

Two persons were killed after a speeding car rammed their motorcycle on the BEL Company Road in Nacharam on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the accident was reported around midnight when Dandugula Gangadhar and contractor Jadupula Ganesh were travelling on a motorcycle from Shakti Sai Nagar towards BEL Company Road after receiving information regarding work.

As they reached Swagath Convention Hall, a speeding car from the opposite direction rammed their motorcycle. Both Gangadhar and Ganesh sustained grievous injuries in the crash and were shifted to a private hospital in ECIL where Gangadhar was declared brought dead around 12.35 a.m. Ganesh was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital for advanced treatment where he succumbed to his injuries at about 4.35 a.m.

Police said the driver of the car abandoned the vehicle at the accident spot and fled from the scene.

Following a complaint by Gangadhar’s wife, Dandugula Radha, a case was booked by the Nacharam police under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Motor Vehicles Act. Further investigation into the case is under way.
