Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh are currently promoting their upcoming movie, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. Ahead of the film’s release, the trio interacted with 50,000 students as a part of ‘India’s International Movement to Unite Nations’ event for the Back To School series.
During this conversation, Alia was heard talking about her daughter Raha. Clearly, Alia is proving to be a doting mother to her eight-month old.Ranbir Kapoor and Alia became parents to a baby girl on November 6, last year. The actress confessed, “When I look at my daughter, I tell her ‘tu toh scientist hi banegi’. This led to a huge laughter among the audience.
Alia and Ranveer walked the ramp as showstoppers for Manish Malhotra’s Bridal Couture show in Mumbai. After the event, Alia was seen telling everyone on the mic that ‘it’s late, all of us should go home and sleep’. One can clearly assume that the mommy had to fulfill her work commitments and rush home to her daughter Raha.
In an interview with Elle recently, Alia spoke about how she has a colour coordinated wardrobe with Raha, just like any new mother. Alia has also confessed that while she is balancing work with mommy duties, she does have that ‘mom guilt’. Alia also loves reading out to her daughter and Raha listens attentively.
Alia had also expressed that she plans to launch some storybooks soon. While she’s not too good with the language, her sister Shaheen Bhatt will definitely be a part of this and help her. She wants to release nine books based on emotions like joy, kindness, hope, so on and so forth.
‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ will be Alia’s first release post the birth of her daughter. It’s releasing on July 28.
