Gaurav Chopraa, who has worked extensively in TV and has also done OTT and films, believes that one’s worth should not be determined solely by the platform they are on. “When you come from a TV background, it’s common for your roles to be shortened and for you to be excluded from major promotions. Unfortunately, this trend will persist until a complete transition occurs. I don’t want to complain about how things are; it should not be like this, but duniya mein kya fair hai? It is how it is,” he says.

He shares, “In 2006, I had the opportunity to work with Leonardo DiCaprio in a film as significant as Blood Diamond. Yet, I returned and participated in Nach Baliye because, in my mind, it was not a small endeavour. The key lies in how you approach it. Why should my worth be defined by the platform I am on?”
After Bachchhan Paandey and Rana Naidu, Gaurav will be seen in Gadar 2. The actor says, “It’s a long film, shorter than the first one, but the songs will make you nostalgic, and you’ll come out and say mujhe kaafi maza aaya. ”
