Shah Rukh Khan is currently on a roll with his exciting line-up which includes director Atlee’s Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. While the trailer of Jawan is set to be unveiled in a few days, the latest report suggests that Rajkumar Hirani and SRK have struck the biggest post-theatrical digital deal with Jio Cinema for Dunki.
According to an entertainment portal, the digital rights of Dunkihave been sold for a sum of Rs 155 crore. This is probably the biggest deal in the history of Indian Cinema for a single language release. It is also because of the collaboration of two big brands likeHirani and SRK.
While interacting with his fans on Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan had teased some details about Jawan with Atlee and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki and said he is excited about both the projects.Though Jawan was a taxing project for him physically, being able to bring Hirani’s vision on screen was equally challenging for SRK.
Shah Rukh Khan’s last big screen release was blockbuster hit Pathaan, which earned over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office. Jawan will hit the cinemas on September 7, while Dunki will arrive in theatres in December.
