An Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) driver died of heart attack while on duty, at the Rayachoti bus stand, in Annamayya district, on Tuesday.
The deceased, Ramachandra (43), drove the bus from Rajampet to Rayachoti and had breakfast after parking it. He went to the second floor to get water, where he collapsed and died of heart attack. Mr. Ramachandra hails from Poli village in Rajampet mandal and is survived by wife, son and daughter.
Transport Minister M. Ramprasad Reddy expressed condolences over the death of the driver and assured to government support to the family.
