Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday virtually inaugurated buildings to house 12 Sub Registrar Offices (SROs) in various districts across the State. The CM also flagged off 51 new vehicles procured for the Revenue and Disaster Management Department at a total cost of ₹4.57 crore. Ministers K. Ponmudy and K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran; Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and senior officials were also present.

In another event, Mr. Stalin handed over ‘Kalaichemmel’ award for 2024-25 to six artists who have excelled in traditional art, modern art and in sculpture categories. Mr. Stalin also handed over the Kalaignar Ezhuthukol Award to journalists Nakkeeran R. Gopal and Sugitha Sarangaraj. Information Minister M.P. Saminathan and senior officials were present on the occasion.
